We highly recommend that you make time in your schedule for a brief session of meditation before and, if possible, after training.
Ten minutes of meditation before you train will increase your level of focus and attention. In turn this will induce greater gains during the training exercise, resulting in faster progress.
Meditation has also been shown to reduce stress and increase mindfulness, making it an excellent brain training tool in its own right.
By meditating after training you help to rest your brain and consolidate the gains you’ve made during the training session.
If you can’t meditate every time you train, do it whenever you can.
